Creative & User Experience Strategist

Curious, attentive researcher. Inspired, rational designer.

All my life I’ve been drawn to contributing my talents to making things better: more efficient, more beautiful, more logical, more strategic, more useful, more impactful.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in strategy, user experience design, and communications. Most recently as a creative director at a digital agency for nearly 7 years. I worked with clients like the Ad Council, the National Park Service, Children’s National Hospital, the National Parks Conservation Association, WomenStrong International, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and Pew Charitable Trusts to name a few.

In 2018 I decided to go back to school to get a Master’s degree in acupuncture while continuing to work part-time. I graduated with my Master’s in Dec 2021. It was an unbelievable transformation personally and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I learned philosophy, psychology, physiology, scientific research, and so much more. It made me a better leader, a better team-member, a better collaborator with clients because I could understand the world through this new lens.

I continue to invest in both sides of myself, the designer/doer/builder/researcher and the newly discovered acupuncturist side. I have a small business seeing a few patients on weekends and evenings and I continue to freelance creative direction and user experience strategy.
